Product Introduction

Molding Process

Product Advantages
Basalt fiber geogrids have the following advantages when used for reinforcing asphalt pavement:
(1) Meet the construction temperature requirements
When the mixture is spread, the geogrid needs to withstand a high temperature of 100 ℃ to 200 ℃, while the working temperature of basalt fiber can reach 700 ℃. Therefore, its performance is not affected by high temperatures.
(2)Strong durability
Basalt fiber geogrid can resist various physical wear and chemical erosion, and has strong anti-aging performance. The basalt fiber geogrid disperses the wheel load stress in the asphalt surface layer, reduces stress concentration, and at the same time, the basalt fibers deform very little under long-term load, maintaining their performance for a long time. To a certain extent, it can reduce the pavement deflection deformation, thereby improving the performance of the asphalt pavement.
(3) Geogrids can restrict the movement of aggregates in the mixture and enhance the high-temperature deformation resistance of the road surface. Under low-temperature conditions in winter, geogrids can counteract the tensile stress of the asphalt surface layer, reduce the occurrence of shrinkage cracks and reflective cracks, and improve the low-temperature resistance of the pavement
